If you have a Ukrainian certificate of complete general secondary education, an international certificate of German language level B1-B2 , and a desire to start studying at a German university, you can plan to enroll in a preparatory course - Studienkolleg .
Typically, this course lasts two semesters and concludes with a qualifying exam, the results of which open up opportunities for admission to undergraduate programs and state exams.
Admission to public Studienkolleg (free education) involves passing entrance exams, while admission to private Studienkolleg (paid education) can take place even without mandatory entrance exams - it all depends on the rules of the specific educational institution.
